Group bus pickup at Yokohama cruise terminals

Yokohama is the main cruise port for the Tokyo area, with ships calling at Osanbashi Pier, Daikoku Pier and Shinko Pier. A charter coach links the ship with Haneda, Narita, Tokyo hotels or a shore excursion, with all the luggage on board.

Which pier?

Osanbashi is close to Yamashita Park and Minato Mirai. Daikoku Pier is on an industrial island used by many larger ships, with limited public transport, which makes coaches especially useful. Shinko Pier is in the Minato Mirai area. The pier depends on the ship and the date, so send us the ship's name and the call date with your request.

Each terminal has its own arrangements for coaches, and on busy days several ships may be in port. We confirm the vehicle area for your call and include it in the pickup instructions.

Disembarkation timing

Leaving a large ship takes time: passengers disembark in groups, collect their luggage and pass through formalities. Instead of one fixed time, we agree a pickup window with the group leader and keep the vehicle time realistic. For embarkation days, plan to arrive within the check-in time given by the cruise line.

Luggage

  • Cruise passengers often carry more and larger suitcases than other travellers; count them per person.
  • A coach's underfloor hold is usually the best choice; a minibus may not carry a full group's luggage.
  • For very large groups, a separate luggage vehicle can be quoted.

After the ship: airport, Tokyo or sightseeing

Haneda is about 25–40 minutes from the Yokohama piers in normal traffic, while Narita is much further at roughly 90–130 minutes. Groups with a late flight often add a short Yokohama or Tokyo tour on the way, with the luggage staying locked in the coach.

Frequently asked questions

Which Yokohama terminal will our ship use?

It depends on the ship and the date: Osanbashi, Daikoku Pier or Shinko Pier. Send the ship's name and call date; we confirm the terminal and the coach area.

How long from the Yokohama cruise terminals to Narita?

About 95–105 km, roughly 90–130 minutes depending on traffic. Haneda is much closer at about 25–40 minutes.

Can we do sightseeing between the ship and a late flight?

Yes. A day charter can include stops in Yokohama or Tokyo with luggage kept in the coach, as long as the timing leaves a safe margin for the flight.
