What you get

• Up to 6 passengers: the 7 seats of the minivan include the driver's seat.

• A written quote per car in Japanese yen before anything is booked.

The vehicle model, seat layout and luggage space are confirmed for the car the operator assigns. We do not promise a specific model, colour or on-board equipment in advance.

Who it suits

Luggage decides the car as much as seats do. Do not assume that 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases fit in one car: luggage capacity is verified per vehicle. Tell us the number and size of suitcases, golf bags and strollers, and we suggest a second car, a minibus or a coach if needed.

• Airport transfers for 1–6 travellers, for example at Narita or Haneda.
• Business travellers moving between meetings, hotels and venues.
• Families who want their own car for the day; tell us about child seats and we check with the operator.
• Small groups of up to 6 visiting places that are slow to reach by train.

How it works — and who holds the licence

   Price per car in Japanese yen, what is included, possible extras such as tolls, parking or waiting time, and the validity date.

   Confirmation

   The booking is confirmed only after you accept and the operator confirms the car in writing.

In Japan, a car with driver for paying passengers runs under a hire-car (taxi) licence — 一般乗用旅客自動車運送事業 — not a charter bus licence. Every private car we arrange is operated by a licensed local hire-car operator, confirmed per request.

Where: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and all 47 prefectures on request

Requests are accepted for all 47 prefectures. We do not keep cars in every region: for each request we look for a licensed local hire-car operator that serves the area, then confirm the operator and availability in your quote. Example requests:

• Tokyo: Narita and Haneda transfers, business days in central Tokyo, day trips to Hakone, Nikko or Mount Fuji.
• Osaka and Kyoto: Kansai Airport transfers, temple visits in Kyoto, a day in Nara.
• Hokkaido: New Chitose Airport, Sapporo, and resort areas such as Niseko or Furano.
• Fukuoka: Fukuoka Airport, the city and day trips in northern Kyushu.
• Okinawa: Naha Airport, resort hotels and sightseeing on the main island.

Availability is never guaranteed until the operator confirms in writing. Peak seasons and remote areas need more lead time.
