Wedding guest shuttle buses in Tokyo
When the ceremony, reception and guests' hotels are in different places, a shuttle bus keeps everyone together and on time. Guests travel in their wedding clothes without searching for taxis, and the couple knows when everyone will arrive.
Request a quoteCommon wedding shuttle plans
- Guests' hotel to the ceremony venue, with a second run for late arrivals if needed.
- Ceremony at a shrine, chapel or garden, then a transfer to the reception venue.
- Return to hotels or a major station area after the reception.
- Day-after excursions for guests who travelled from abroad.
Timing around the ceremony
Plan for guests to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so they can find their seats calmly. The return trip after the reception is harder to time: speeches and photos often run long. We agree a planned departure time and how long the vehicle can wait, since waiting is limited by the booked hours and driver working-time rules.
Venues, access and guests
Wedding venues usually tell you where buses may load; some have a driveway, others ask coaches to stop on a side street. Send the venue name early so we can check access for the vehicle size. Tell us about elderly guests, wheelchair users or small children, and whether guests will carry gifts or luggage.
Decorating the vehicle needs the operator's approval in advance, and nothing may cover windows, lights or exits.
Frequently asked questions
How many buses do we need for wedding guests?
It depends on how many guests travel on each run and whether everyone travels at the same time. Send guest numbers per run; we suggest vehicle sizes and quote per vehicle.
Can the bus wait during the reception and take guests back afterwards?
Yes, within the booked hours and driver working-time rules. For long receptions it can be better to book two separate runs instead of one vehicle waiting all day.
Can you also provide a car for the couple?
A private car with driver can be requested alongside the coach. Availability and the licensed operator are confirmed with the quote.
